Clary is at a club and witnesses a murder - but she can't call the police because the body disappeared and no one else can see the killers, even though there are hundreds of people at the club. To make matters worse, Clary comes home and her apartment is trashed and her mom is missing. Great start to the Mortal Instruments series.
