Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Nick is smart mouthed teen that gets mixed up with werewolves, vampires and zombies - OH MY. This book is great fun and it is the first in the Chronicles of Nick series. (It's a fantastic audiobook too!)

Crossed by Ally Condie
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
The sequel to "Matched". Cassia runs to the Outer Provinces in search of Ky. During her search she learns more about the Society and what it does to stay an absolute power. I can't wait for the final book in the trilogy "Reached". It comes out this November.

Temple Grandin: How the Girl Who Loved Cows Embraced Autism and Changed the World by Sy Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
When Temple was a child her father wanted her institutionalized but her mom knew she had special gifts. This was before doctors knew about autism. Her mom fought to find the right schools and mentors for her daughter. Thank goodness Temple's mom was such a fighter because Temple grew up to become an everyday HERO!
