Sean and Puck live on a small island known for it's horse races. Not just any horse race but a horse race with the capaill uisce, carnivorous water horses. Each year men from Thisby capture these animals and attempt to tame them so they can race them the next year. Both Sean and Puck are desperate to win because they need the money, but they may not live to see the end of the race because year after year men and horses are killed during the race. Edge of your seat read. I listened on audiobook and I would hate to turn off my car at the end of the day!

In the future, citizens are sorted into five factions. At sixteen you must choose a faction that you will belong to the rest of you life. There is just one faction for everyone - or at least that is what the government says. But what if your test is inconclusive and are labeled a Divergent?

This is a read at the edge of your seat book. I can't wait for the second novel, Insurgent, to come out in May 2012
