They Called Themselves the K.K.K.: The Birth of an American Terrorist GroupThey Called Themselves the K.K.K.: The Birth of an American Terrorist Group by Susan Campbell Bartoletti

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Did you know that there is a terrorist group in the United States? That it has been around for many years? This is the history of the Ku Klux Klan; why it began and how it survives. This is NOT a gentle read, but it is definitely worth reading!

The BEST audiobook EVER!!! Skulduggery Pleasant is a walking talking skeleton sent to save Stephanie from all sorts of evil beings - Turns out however, that Stephanie didn't need saving. This is the first book in one of my favorite series of all time. You'll be hooked after the first chapter.

Unraveling FreedomUnraveling Freedom by Ann Bausum

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

During World War One the United States enacted laws which surpressed the civil liberties of certain American citizens. This book asks important questions such as: Why did the government believe that these laws were necessary? Was the government right in passing these laws? Are there parallels today?
